CONFERENCE: ¿Cómo podemos hacer humanidades digitales en América del Sur?
DRA. GIMENA DEL RIO RIANDE: Investigadora Adjunta del Instituto de Investigaciones Bibliográficas y Crítica Textual del CONICET. Dirige el Laboratorio de Humanidades Digitales HD CAICYT Lab (CONICET) y co-dirige en Máster en Humanidades Digitales (UNED). Medievalista, Doctora summa cum laude en Filología Románica y Magíster en Estudios Literarios por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Experta en Investigación y Recuperación del Patrimonio Literario por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, y Licenciada y Profesora en Letras por la Universidad de Buenos Aires, sus líneas de investigación se centran en la edición filológica y digital, las Humanidades Digitales y las prácticas abiertas de investigación. Es Embajadora del DOAJ en América Latina, miembro del Board de los consorcios FORCE11, y de la Text Encoding Initiative. Es co-directora de la Revista de Humanidades Digitales y presidenta de la Asociación Argentina de Humanidades Digitales. En la actualidad, lleva adelante el programa Global Classrooms sobre edición digital de textos con la Universidad de Maryland.
